Had the most amazing time at Hush Restaurant and Lounge in Elmont, NY! The place is located at 241-05 Linden Blvd and has a fun and upbeat Reggae, Soca, and Dancehall music playing in the background. It was the perfect vibe for a night of great food and chill atmosphere.
We started with Saltfish & Ackee Spring Rolls and Codfish Fritters. The rolls were crispy and had the perfect blend of saltfish and ackee, while the fritters were fresh and delicious. The chicken stuffed with shrimp and spinach was our main course and it was juicy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. The Curry Goat infused with ginger and scotch bonnet pepper was also a hit!
We couldn't leave without trying the Ital Stew - a hearty stew made with assorted vegetables and red kidney beans. It was the perfect dish for a chilly evening and warmed us up from the inside out.
Hush Restaurant and Lounge offers an authentic Caribbean dining experience, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for good food and great vibes.
